About
Who makes unbin.lv
unbin.lv is made by SIA BARGO, a Latvian company that bids for public contracts itself. It is the tool its own bid team wanted: every company opened to the contracts it won, and every figure computed from published notices and filings.

Where the data comes from
Only from public records: new notices are loaded every morning and the registers every week, and every screen says when it was last loaded.
- Procurement Monitoring Bureau (IUB)
- notices, awards and complaints
- Electronic Procurement System (EIS)
- calls, their documents, who bid, results and contracts
- Company Register (Uzņēmumu reģistrs)
- companies, filed annual accounts, officers and ownership links
- Ministry of Finance (Finanšu ministrija)
- the de minimis aid register
- Public buyers' own websites
- calls posted only there
What it is not
It is not the procurement system: offers are submitted in EIS, or where the buyer says, not here. It is not advice: the figures show what happened, and whether to bid is yours to decide.
